Tomoshin Higa missed playing Football Fever the first week of the contest. No particular reason, he just didn't send in a ballot. Higa back in action with
Football Fever winHe did last week, however. Lucky him.
Higa picked nine out of 10 winners and was the first one chosen of those who finished with marks that were equal to or better than our panel of prognosticators.
As such he's our second winner of $500 and four tickets to the Jeep O'ahu Bowl on Christmas Day.
"I started to play again just this past week," Higa said. "Now, I'll play regular."
Higa said his toughest pick of the week might have been Brigham Young over Arizona State. The Cougars upset the Sun Devils, 26-6.
"I was back and forth," Higa said. "I was thinking either way, it could go. But then, you have to pick one."
Three panelists got eight out of 10 correct -- KINE-FM morning show host Brickwood Galuteria, Star-Bulletin writer Cindy Luis and last week's winner, Lionell Garcia.
All entries during the football season are eligible for the grand prize drawing of an Infinity Sound System Home Entertainment Center, as well as the first prize of a trip for two to the Hooters Hula Bowl and the second prize of two Delta Airlines tickets to or from the U.S. Mainland.
