What ever happened to former Miss America Carolyn Sapp? Carolyn Sapp to be
in Civil War flickFormer Miss America Carolyn Suzanne Sapp is currently in South Carolina filming a movie on the Civil War, said Eric Eugene Kamakahai'ai Chandler, local fashion designer and couturier.
Sapp was the first Miss Hawaii ever to become Miss America. She moved to Los Angeles after being crowned Miss America in 1992.
According to Chandler, aside from being part of a motion picture, Sapp is concentrating on a sports broadcasting career.
She graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a degree in business marketing.
Sapp first came to Hawaii in 1985 with her father, Lutheran minister Fred Sapp. Her parents were divorced when she was growing up in Washington state.
