Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
Ballet Hawaii will present the Alvin Ailey
dancers in February.
Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo heads the list of three dance productions here beginning next month that also includes the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the annual holiday "Nutcracker." Dance series

Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo opens the series Oct. 13 and 14 at the Concert Hall.
"Nutcracker" will be presented Dec. 18-20 at the Concert Hall featuring American Ballet Theater guest stars and a large corp de ballet from the community all under the artistic direction of Pamela Taylor-Tongg.
The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will be presented Feb. 2-7 at the Hawaii Theatre.
Tickets for the three show series are available to Ballet Hawaii subscribers on a priority basis through Sept. 11, with public series tickets also available by mail order through the Blaisdell box office.
All series tickets are in the top-priced section, $140, a $50 savings over single tickets. Seats are assigned in the order of mail received.
Ballet Hawaii also is offering a special program for contributors, including complimentary VIP tickets to productions. Donations of $5,000 receive four complimentary tickets to all three productions; donations of $2,500 get four complimentary tickets to two productions; $1,000 donations get two complimentary tickets to three productions; $500 gets you two tickets to two productions; and $250 benefactors get two complimentary tickets to any single production.
Individual tickets go on sale Sept. 19 for Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo; Nov. 2 for "Nutcracker," and in early December for Alvin Ailey.
Tickets for Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo are $35-$75; "Nutcracker", $15-$35; and Alvin Ailey, $25-$55.
