Poi Fest postponed;
refunds available

The KPOI 1998 Poi Fest has been indefinitely postponed due to scheduling conflicts involving a few of the bands that were to appear in the Sept. 27 concert, the KPOI promotion department said.

Those who bought tickets may get refunds by mailing the tickets to: The Connection, P.O. Box 11294, Honolulu, HI 96826. Include your name and return address to receive the refund.

Refunds should take about two weeks to arrive from the date the Connection receives the tickets.

The Connection will not refund the service charge for handling the original sale, but KPOI will send a KPOI Card with the refund, good for one KPOI CD.

The card can be redeemed at the radio station, at 711 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 1100. Call the station at 591-9369 for information.
