Bullet Edward C. Barney, 76, of Honolulu, who retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died Wednesday in Kaiser Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Jeanette, sons Edward and Robert, daughter Patti-Ann Spencer, brothers Charles and William, sister Dorothy Killoran, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Bullet Daniel Beaulieu, 43, of Kihei, Maui died Wednesday in Maui Memorial Hospital. Born in Massachusetts, he is survived by wife Janice S.; parents Leo E. and Rita; daughters Shauna M., Candra N., Brandi U. and Leanna I.; brothers Gary and Brian; and sisters Susan Arnold and Sandra Galarneau. Bullet Elizabeth C.Y. Flores, 95, of Wahiawa died Aug. 14 in Wahiawa General Hospital. Born in Cholado, South Korea, she is survived by sons Norman F., Joseph V. and Steven V.; daughters Andrea F. Motoyama, Beatrice F. Tano, Frances E. Ishida and Shirley L. Choy; brother Richard Whang; sisters Helen Kau and Elizabeth Whang; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Bullet Edwin M. Lee, 89, of Hauula, a retired auditor for Bank of Hawaii, died Sunday in Leahi Hospital. He was also a tennis coach for Iolani High School in the 1950s. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by son E. Marvin, brothers Mack and Ralph, sister Rose Terada, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Bullet George F. Mycynek, 86, of Wisconsin, a retired supervisor for the water department at the Village of Shorewood in Milwaukee, died Tuesday in Honolulu. Born in Milwaukee, he is survived by wife Leona, sons Alan and Makai “Paul,” daughter Cynthia Powers, brother Frank and five grandchildren. Mass: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Bullet Gordon Velles, 71, of Las Vegas, formerly of Mililani, a retired lead man for Ameron, died Aug. 13 in Las Vegas. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by sons Stanley T. Patinio and Julio G. and Richard Velles, daughters Theresa Madijanon and Laura Pasco, brother Juke, sister Rose Decosta and 13 grandchildren. Bullet Chien Van Vo, 81, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter, died Aug. 14 in Honolulu. Bullet Phi Van Vu, 69, of Honolulu, an officer in the Vietnamese Army, died Monday. Born in Vietnam, he is survived by wife Cham Thi Nguyen; sons Hung, Dung and Lam; daughters Tuyet, Nguyet, Huong, Xuan, Cuc and Trucly; brothers Ke and Muc; sisters Ha and Goa; and 16 grandchildren. Services held.

Bullet Jack P. Willocks, 61, of Hilo, president of Willocks Construction Corp., died Thursday at home. Born in Hilo, he is survived by wife Lucille, son Hugh M., daughter Nani Paul, brother Hugh H., hanai son Brad Bantilan, stepdaughters Michelle Sexton and Lisa Jenkins, and six grandchildren. Celebration of life: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hilo Yacht Club. Donations suggested to Hospice of Hilo.
