Poifest tickets go on sale

It's Poifest time again, with six bands -- Sprung Monkey, Flys, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Possum Dixon, Homegrown and The Bosscats -- converging on one stage at the Turtle Bay Hilton beginning at noon Sept. 27.

Tickets for the concert go on sale tomorrow at all Connection outlets for $15 (plus applicable service charges). Tickets can also be charged by phone by calling 545-4000.

Just as last year, a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Domestic Clearinghouse & Legal Hotline, and the Surfrider Foundation. Call 599-KPOI for details.
