ribbons of Aloha

Aloha Festivals 1998 ribbons granting free admission to almost all festival events are now available.

This year's Aloha Festivals theme is "Ola Ka 'Oiwi" (The Natives Endure).

The ribbons are $5 each. Oahu ribbons will be available through September, and neighbor island ribbons through October.

Ribbon holders are also entitled to a 10 percent discount off Aloha Airlines fares purchased for travel between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31.

Also available at the Aloha Festivals Office or by mail are super ribbons and collector sets. Super ribbons consist of each island's ribbon on one button and are $20 or $23 by mail. Collector sets include eight individual island ribbons for $20 or $23 by mail.
