Store opens with
afternoon tea

Delicate lilikoi-lemon bars, rich Kona coffee-fudge brownies, sumptuous banana-poi bread -- these are Kapuakea Products to be served at Ti & Tea, a pre-grand opening event Tuesday at the new Native Books & Beautiful Things at Ward Warehouse.

The event also features soothing Kinipopo Creations teas, ti-leaf lei making, and two dozen Native Books artisans and their "really made in Hawaii" works.

Ti & Tea is free, from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. Call 847-8288.
