Olympic Club round
of golf up for auction

A round of golf for three at San Francisco's Olympic Club, which was the site of this year's U.S. Open, will be one of the items to bid on at the third annual Murphy's Rainbow Pigskin Pigout fund raiser, tomorrow night at Murphy's Bar and Grill.

The Olympic Golf Club Dream Adventure includes round-tip airfare for three, hotel accommodations, lunch at the Olympic Club and dinner at San Francisco's North Beach Restaurant.

The trip is one of more than 150 items to be put to auction. Proceeds go to help fund the UH football team training table.

Tickets for the Pigskin Pigout are $75 and include dinner, beverages and entertainment.

Call Murphy's at 531-0422 or Ray Sweeney at 533-0033 for information.

Tillis led the Hurricane to a 42-12 victory over the Utah Catzz last Saturday. He passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as Honolulu improved to 6-7.

The Hurricane end their season Sunday with a 7 p.m. game against the first-place Louisiana Bayou Beast (12-1), at Blaisdell Arena.

AIEA ADVANCES: Aiea eliminated Molokai, 7-1, yesterday to advance to today's championship game of the State Little League baseball final for the major division (ages 11-12).

Aiea will face undefeated Waipio in the 4 p.m. game at Pearl City Recreation Center field. Should Aiea win, it would force a second game to determine Hawaii's entrant into the regional tournament next month in San Bernardino, Calif.

The girls, at 238, were six strokes behind first-place Northern California. Dawn Miyashiro shot a 75, followed by Shayna Miyajima (81), Whitney Asao (82) and Merynn Ito (91).

In individual girls' play, Miyashiro was in fifth place, five strokes behind Lorena Ochoa of Mexico.
