Ex-reporter is now
private investigator

What ever happened to former television reporter Matt Levi?

Since resigning from KGMB Channel 9 in 1988, Levi has been a private detective. Levi, who turns 49 next month, now has his own investigation company, Matt Levi Investigations.

While at KGMB, Levi produced the half-hour investigative program, "The Levi Files," which investigated government, law enforcement and other areas. However, the half-hour program was canceled in 1988.

That same year, KGMB, whose local news programs once dominated television ratings, laid off more than a dozen people -- including seven members of the 42-person news department.
