Valley Isle celebrates
its unique onion

AT the ninth annual Maui Onion Festival from July 31 to Aug. 2, see cooking demonstrations by top Maui chefs and savor fried Maui onion rings and grilled Kula veggies prepared by onion growers. Visit onion-related craft and food booths and a Maui onion putting green. Olomana with Jerry Santos performs 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2 as part of festival-long entertainment.
