Have your hair stenciled red, white and blue from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Aloha Tower Marketplace and you may become part of the Guinness Book of World Records. Stylists from Fantastic Sam's need to color at least 500 heads of hair to get Hawaii in the book. Don't worry, the paint washes out immediately.
Other activities that night include entertainment by Zanuc Lindsey, 6-7 p.m., and Na Leo Pilimehana, 7:30-8:45 p.m., on the mainstage. The fireworks begin at 8:45 p.m.
For those ready to celebrate early, the marketplace is also having a pre-Fourth of July fireworks show, 8:45 p.m. tomorrow, followed by the music of John Cruz, 9 p.m.-midnight at Gordon Biersch.

Also celebrating early is Barbers Point Naval Air Station, which is holding a "Star Spangled Celebration" tomorrow at Pointer Field. Festivities begin with a 5K Liberty Run at 7:30 a.m.The opening ceremony parade and entertainment begins at 3 p.m. Performers include Na Leo Pilimehana, Forte and Kapena. There also will be an ice cream eating contest, games, rides, a Skydive Hawaii demonstration, displays, food, crafts and displays by the Hawaii Corvette Association and Team Hawaii Go-Karts.
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. and will be accompanied with music by the Pacific Fleet Band. Call 684-7101.

"Ala Moana July 4th Concert of the Stars": Featuring Kapena, Loyal Garner, Brothers Cazimero, and Danny Couch and the Paradise Sisters, 6 p.m. on the Ewa parking deck near Sears. The 20-minute fireworks show launched from Magic Island begins at 8:25 p.m. The fireworks will be synchronized with music on KSSK (92.3 FM and 590 AM) and the concert will be shown live on KGMB-9 with Brook Mahealani Lee, Russell Shimooka and Kim Gennaula, 7:30-8:30 p.m. A rebroadcast will be shown 8-9 a.m. Sunday. Block party: Carnival games, Navy visit ship, go-kart rides, crafts, children's activities, food and live entertainment by Kapena, Rolando Sanchez, Renegade, Manuma Brothers and the Navy's Pacific Crossroads Show Band, 4-11 p.m., Avenue A from Merry Point to 11th Street, Pearl Harbor. TRAFFIC TIPS
Kailua: Beginning at 6:30 a.m. no- parking and tow-away zones will be in effect on Kainalu Drive between Kainui Drive and Kailua Road; and on Kuulei Road between Malunui and Kalaheo avenues.
From 9 a.m. the following streets will be closed: Uilama, Pukoa, Omao and Ainoni streets; Kaha Street between Kainalu Drive and Kaiholu Street; and Kalama Street between Kainalu Drive and Maluniu Street.
At 9:45 a.m., Kainalu Drive will be closed.
From 5 p.m. no-parking and tow-away zones will be in effect on Aalapapa Drive from Lanipo Drive to the lookout; Alala Road between Kawailoa Road and Lanikai; Kailua Road from Hahani Street to its end at the beach; on or adjacent to the traffic island at the junction of Kalaheo Road and Kailua Road; Kalaheo Avenue between Kailua and Lihiwai roads; Kawailoa Road between Lihiwai and Alala roads, and the mauka side between Alala Road and the end; Kaneapu Place, makai side; Koohoo Street, makai side between Aalapapa Drive and end; Lihiwai Road, near Kawailoa, both sides of curved sections; Makalii Place, mauka side; and Mokulua Drive between monument and Aalapapa Drive, and makai side between Aalapapa Drive north and south intersections along the bike path.
Ala Moana/Waikiki: No-parking and tow-away zone, 5-11 p.m. Saturday on the Koko Head side of Keeaumoku Street from Kapiolani Boulevard to King Street. Also, 4-11 p.m. Saturday on the makai side of Ala Moana from the bus shelter stop across the Neiman Marcus Store to Atkinson Drive; and from the Ewa entrance of Ala Moana Beach Park to the first bus stop after the entrance.
Because of a dedication ceremony for the Brothers in Valor monument at Fort DeRussy, Kalakaua Avenue will have two makai-side lanes closed from 8-10 a.m. from Ala Moana to Saratoga Road.
Also, traffic around the Hawaii Convention Center will be heavier because of the AJA Veterans National Convention banquet, 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
MALL ACTIVITIES
Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center: Participants can enjoy live entertainment, food, games and a bike show celebrating Harley-Davidson's 95th anniversary at the center, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. The "All-American Festival" begins tomorrow and continues through Sunday.
