Candidates set sites
on Internet

Finally, Hawaii's politicians have caught on to the Web.

Two of the major candidates for governor: Democratic Gov. Ben Cayetano and Republican Maui Mayor Linda Lingle are up and running with Web sites.

You can catch Cayetano at http://www.ben4gov.com and Lingle at http://www.lingle.org.

Both sites are sophisticated with lots of information about the candidates and their campaigns.

And both sites are constantly changing: Lingle's for instance, is going to offer a store to buy campaign merchandise and make donations, while Cayetano plans regular campaign updates.
