Asian-American
authors to read

Authors Frank Chin, Gary Pak and Milton Murayama will be giving readings and autographs Tuesday at an Association for Asian American Studies reception.

The free event runs 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ilikai Hotel Imperial Suite, at 1777 Ala Moana Boulevard.

Chin will be reading from "Bulletproof Buddhists and Other Stories," Pak will be reading from "A Ricepaper Airplane" and Murayama will be reading from "Plantation Boy."

The readings are being presented by the University of Hawai'i Press and the UCLA Asian American Studies Center. For more information, call 956-8697.
