He said there is a trend toward machines which combine copier, printing, fax, and scanning functions.
"Ricoh has won several awards for its digital office products," Gannon said.
He has more than 17 years of experience in office technology, and most recently was vice president of sales and marketing at IKON Office Solutions in Honolulu.
Gannon also was the president of University Imaging Systems of Hawaii Inc., a company he started with two others after returning to Hawaii from California in 1989.
While in California, he worked in construction and for University Copy Systems in Irvine.
He earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Hawaii.
