Color this stuff changeable

If you were intrigued by Del Sol's chameleon nail polish, you may also be keen on the company's color-changing T-shirts, bags, hats and necklaces.

If so, contact Grant Hutton, owner of Sol-sations and the local DelSol distributor. Necklaces, T-shirts, hats and backpacks are just some of the items Hutton's Kona store carries that either change color in the sun or have designs on them that change color. Hutton said he also makes T-shirts for organizations using the photochromic process.

Hutton said because of shipping costs, the nail polishes cost $8.99 a bottle, a little more than the suggested price listed in the Star-Bulletin in a May 26 story.

Sol-sations is located at Alii Sunset Plaza, 75-5799 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona; or call Hutton on Oahu at 236-4239.

Lisa Laws, a representative of the Del Sol company, said Adam Shatz, who was listed in the story as the distributor for the nail polish line, only handles retail sales where there are no local stores that carry Del Sol products.
