SALUTE!

A drawing done by Kyla Ozoa, a third-grader at St. Joseph School, appears in the June issue of Highlights for Children magazine.

The Honolulu youngster submitted a crayon drawing entitled "My Fishes" to the magazine feature, "Our Own Pages." It publishes selections from stories, poems and pictures submitted by its young readers.

A release from the magazine says Kyla likes to sing, dance and do in-line skating, as well as drawing and coloring. It says she wants to be a chemist or a nurse when she grows up.

Four movies begin their Oahu runs Friday:

Can't Hardly Wait: Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ethan Embry star in this comedy set at a high school graduation party. An aspiring writer (Embry) has been in love with the class knockout (Hewitt) for four years. Tonight, he is determined to declare his love. (PG-13)

Dirty Work: Norm MacDonald of "Saturday Night Live" co-wrote this comedy in which he and Chevy Chase play two lifelong losers who turn their anger into a revenge-for-hire operation. (PG-13)

Last Days of Disco: Set during the early 1980s, the film tells the stories of recent college graduates and other young New Yorkers trying to make their way in the city as disco wanes not only as popular music, but as a way of life. Stars Chloe Sevigny, Kate Beckinsale, Chris Eigeman, Mackenzie Astin, Matt Keeslar, Robert Sean Leonard and Matthew Ross, (R)

Six Days Seven Nights: Harrison Ford plays a South Pacific cargo pilot who becomes stranded on a deserted island with a neurotic, high-powered New York magazine editor (Anne Heche). There is an antagonistic attraction between Heche and Ford. Co-stars David Schwimmer. (PG-13)
