Anne Klein boutique opens

Pomare International opens a 3,800 square foot Anne Klein boutique Monday at Ala Moana Center, mall level, next to The Nature Company It marks the first time that shoppers will be able to purchase the complete range of Anne Klein apparel, as well as accessories, from shoes to jewelry.

The new store will feature the flexibility of mix-and-match separates the Anne Klein label is known for, in business and casual styles. The boutique will also address a sizable Hawaii market with a large selection of petite sizes.

The Anne Klein company was established in 1968. When Klein died unexpectedly in 1974, Louis Dell'Ollio and Donna Karan were chosen as her design successors. A new design team of Ken Kaufman and Isaac Franco was appointed in January 1997 to continue Klein's original mission of creating clothing for women with an active lifestyle.
