World chess fest
here this summer

With prizes of more than $20,000, the Hawaii International Chess Festival -- http://www. chessworks.com/events/98events/98hcfinf.html -- is nothing to cross off the board.

For the local championships, a total of 29 chess grand masters will be participating in events spread over four contests.

Check it out: Among the top contestants to attend will be Judith Polgar from Hungary, who is described as the all-time greatest female chess star.
