Krokodiloes perform

The 12-member ensemble Harvard Krokodiloes, Harvard University's oldest and most prestigious a capella group, will perform next month at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel's Mai Tai Bar.

The group will sing from 7 to 8 p.m. June 3 and June 4, and from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 5.

The Krokodiloes have performed all over the world, including New York's Carnegie Hall and "The Tonight Show."

The group's repertoire includes jazz, swing, 1950s songs and pop standards.

Skitch, symphony together again

Creator and founder of The New York Pops, conductor of the NBC Symphony, one-time musical director for Frank Sinatra, and former conductor of "The Tonight Show," Skitch Henderson takes center stage at the Waikiki Shell at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. He will conduct the Honolulu Symphony in performing "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber."

Also featured will be Broadway stars Lorna Dallas and Michael Maguire. Their selections will include songs from "Cats," "Cabaret," "Phantom of the Opera," "Singin' in the Rain," "Oklahoma" and more.

Advance tickets are $15 for lawn seating, $25 reserved and $35 for table seats, available via the Blaisdell box office or Connection. Tickets at the gate are $18 lawn, $28 reserved and $38 for table seating. Call 583-8863.
