A new New Otani for Cercillieux

Jean-Pierre Cercillieux has returned to Hawaii to manage the 125-room New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel.

He has more than 25 years experience in the hotel industry, most recently as director of sales and marketing, international for the Hotel New Otani Osaka.

"With my previous experience, especially with the Japanese market, I look forward to working with the local travel community and visitor industry," Cercillieux said.

Cercillieux held management positions with the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Hawaiian Regent Hotel in Hawaii before leaving Hawaii in the mid-1980s.

He worked at Princess Hotels in Bermuda, and other hotels in France, Germany and England.

Cercillieux moved back to Hawaii in April this year.

He has completed courses in hotel management at Cornell University.
