Anchor has his say
Star-Bulletin staffChannel 2 news anchor Joe Moore doesn't think much of the channel's nonnews programming since it became a Fox affiliate two years ago, but he wants to remain in his present post just the same.
"There is a lot of crap on TV," he said at the end of the 10 o'clock news last night. "Does Fox have more than its fair share? In my personal opinion, yes."
It has a relatively young audience and goes in heavily for wild police videos with scary chase scenes he finds repugnant and offensive, he said.
However, he would not be happier at another station, he added.
Other stations have a lot of what he thinks is trash too, he said. "It's not the Fox programs."
It's the people he works with at Channel 2 day in and day out who make him want to stay, he said.
