Milk now in easy to take bottles

Now drinking milk on the go will be just as convenient as slurping a soda or guzzling bottled water. New on the market is Viva 2 percent reduced-fat white and chocolate-flavored milk in 16-ounce, single serving plastic bottles. The bottles are resealable, recyclable and sized to fit in automobile cup holders or mini coolers.

Meadow Gold Dairies is supplying the bottled milk to supermarkets and convenience stores throughout Hawaii, and plans to expand the line to include a mango-orange nectar in the next few months.

The bottles are sold singly, and must be kept refrigerated. The suggested retail price is $1.29.
