


Chad Santos hit three home runs and drove in five runs as the St. Louis Crusaders beat the Damien Monarchs, 9-7 in 10 innings, at Iolani in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu yesterday. Santos 3 HRs carry Saints
Santos broke a 7-all tie in the 10th with a two-run shot. Joe Cabansag also had a home run for the Saints.
Damien sent the game into extra innings by rallying for two runs in the seventh inning, Leadoff batter Shannon Lau was hit by a pitch. After one out, Chad Agustin doubled to right, scoring Lau. With two outs, Ty Cullen singled to center, scoring Agustin.
Kyle Correa pitched six innings of relief, striking out 12 for St. Louis.
