Charles K. Cotton takes on new responsibilities for national, regional and local sales for Pacific Star Communications which owns seven radio stations in Hawaii. They are KSSK, KHVH-AM, STAR 101.9, Classic Rock 98.5, Country 990 AM, I-94 (KIKI-FM) and KIKI-AM.

Cotton's career include a stint as president and general manager at Kilohana Broadcasting Inc. After the company sold KPOI to Caribou Broadcasting in 1996 Cotton became a consultant and did work in Asia. Cotton also worked from 1972-1992 as sales manager for KFMB AM and FM in San Diego.

He is active in the local community as a board member at the Hawaii Food Bank and the Hawaii Association of Broadcasters.

Pacific Star Communications is a unit of Capstar Communications, one of the largest networks of radio stations in Hawaii.
