The girls' state basketball tournament is three weeks away, but Onaona Miller was in postseason form for Punahou in the fourth quarter of last night's game at Iolani's gym.

The 5-foot-11 all-state senior finished the game with 22 points and a game-high eight rebounds and made two key steals as the Buffanblu beat the Raiders, 52-44, in overtime in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game.

Miller was at her best in the fourth quarter as she scored 14 points and rallied the Buffanblu (10-1) to force the overtime.

Punahou head coach Shelley Fey said Miller took advantage of the fact that Iolani's (6-4) two top post players, Karyn Fitisemanu and Jamie Liu, each had three fouls.

"She was isolated, and she got to go one-on-one and that's all we needed," Fey said. "We haven't seen her shoot like that for a while, and we haven't seen her so close to the basket. I'm surprised they didn't double down on her."
