Southwestern beef pizzas
1 pound 80-percent lean ground beef, or leanerBrown beef and garlic over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking beef into 1/2-inch crumbles. Pour off drippings; season with pepper. Stir in steak sauce and sugar; heat.
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup steak sauce
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
6 individual prebaked pizza crusts, 4 ounces each
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded jalapeno pepper cheese
Toppings:
1 cup thinly sliced lettuce
1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon diced jalapenos, optionalPlace pizza crusts on 2 ungreased baking sheets. Spread equal amount of beef mixture over each crust; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 425 degrees 14 to 16 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle toppings over pizzas; cut each into 6 wedges. Makes 36 wedges.
