Isle model named top-50 beauty
Twenty-one-year-old isle surfer/model Malia Jones has been named to the People magazine "50 most beautiful people" and left yesterday for a New York party saluting the Fab 50, the model's manager said today.
Jones joins "Titanic" star Leonardo DiCaprio, who is showcased on the 50 most beautiful people cover of People, which goes on sale Friday.
John English, Jones' L.A.-based manager, said the 5-foot-6-inch, 102-pound model will wear an Italian design to tomorrow's 50 most beautiful people celebration to benefit breast cancer.
Friday's "Oprah Winfrey Show" will feature video of Jones, English said.
Currently Jones can be seen in a national TV commercial for Capri Sun soft drink and she's showcased in Fiat-auto print, TV and movie-theater advertising throughout Europe.
