Then an intentional walk was issued to to Wade Szameitat, setting the stage for Darin Aihara, who sacrificed to right.

Roosevelt 8, Kalani 6: At Stevenson Intermediate field, the Rough Riders (4-2) handed Kalani (5-1) its first loss of the OIA Eastern Division season.
Kurt Murata got the win and the save. He started the game, went 41/3 innings, giving up four runs, three earned. He then went to right field before being called back to the mound in the seventh to close it 1-2-3.
