"Poets in the Bud": Celebration honors National Poetry Month in April. Events at Borders, Ward: College students share and interact with children through keiki poetry readings, 11 a.m. noon, Saturdays in April; "budding poets" features children up through high school reading their pieces, 7 p.m. Wednesday; and distribution of poetry postcards with poems by Hawaii children. Keiki can also participate in Border's "Second Annual Keiki Poetry Contest." Each child may submit up to three poems. Rules and entry forms available in the store. All events are free.
