Jean Fredericks is managing the 374-unit Maui Islander resort in Lahaina which will embark soon on a 18-month improvement program. Renewal at the Maui Islander
"We want to improve the interior units and give them more of a Hawaiian feel with rattan furnishings," Fredericks said. "We will also be doing exterior painting, landscaping and add a second pool and pavilion area."
She has more than 16 years of property management experience and most recently was general manager at the Papakea Oceanfront Resort in Lahaina. Fredericks also managed the Cliffs at Princeville on Kauai and was president and chief executive officer of Asset Investment Management Inc. in Wichita, Kan.
Fredericks received accreditation as a residential manager in 1985 from the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Board of Realtors.
