"They are packaging optional tours which are bought and paid for in Japan," Aquilina said.
Royal Hawaiian Cruises operates five cruise vessels from Oahu, Maui and Kauai.
He most recently was national/international sales and operations manager for AQMC Inc. International, which provides supplies for copier, fax and laser printer machines. Aquilina also worked in sales management with Union Royal Corp. of Tokyo and Mitsui & Co. (USA) Inc.
He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sophia University in Tokyo. While at school, he used his fluency in Japanese to teach English and hold seminars for Sony Enterprise Ltd.
