Samuel H. Kamuela Price, 77, of North Shore, a native Hawaiian advocate, died March 20 at home. Price had been a candidate for Honolulu mayor and the U.S. Senate.
In announcing his candidacy for the Senate, Price said someone is needed in Congress to protect the rights of Hawaiians.
He is survived by two brothers; children Luukia, Leilani and Maui Loa; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Milton O. Holst, 95, of Pebble Beach, Calif. and formerly of Honolulu, died Tuesday at home. He built an award-winning advertising agency, Holst, Cummings and Myers, in Honolulu and headed it until he retired and moved to California in 1964. He was born in Washington, D.C.
