SENATE

° Judiciary: Hearing on bills relating to traffic, courts and judicial proceedings, criminal trespass and small estates, 8:30 a.m., Room 229.

° Commerce, Consumer Protection and Information Technology: Hearing on bills relating to captive insurance companies, telecommunications and insurance in credit sales. Decision-making to follow if time permits. Decision-making on bills relating to psychologists and pharmacist licensure examinations, 9 a.m., Room 016.

° Water, Land and Hawaiian Affairs/Education: Hearing on resolutions requesting implementation of the auditor's recommendations on the management of Mauna Kea and the Mauna Kea science reserve. Decision-making to follow. Water, Land and Hawaiian Affairs Committee informational briefing regarding Kahoolawe. No public testimony accepted, 1 p.m., Room 229.

° Transportation and Intergovernmental Affairs/Human Resources/Government Operations and Housing: Hearing on resolutions requesting an inventory of parking spaces in the Central Business District of Honolulu and development of a graduated parking fee schedule and requesting the Department of Transportation to list possible sites along state highways for placement of "Welcome to Kaneohe" signs. Decision-making to follow if time permits, 1 p.m., Room 212.

HOUSE

° Labor and Public Employment: Hearing on bill relating to wage and hour law. Decision-making to follow, 8:30 a.m., Room 309.

° Water and Land Use: Hearing on resolutions requesting a management audit of the Hawaii District section of the Division of Forestry and Wildlife and requesting the chair of the Board of Land and Natural Resources to recommend ways of attracting foreign hunters to the state. Decision-making to follow, 9 a.m., Room 312.

° Judiciary: Hearing on bills relating to employment on public works projects, drug demand reduction assessments and child passenger safety. Decision-making to follow, 2 p.m., Room 325.

° Legislative Management: Hearing on resolution relating to a five-day recess so the Legislature can seek community input and generate a broad concession on the Economic Revitalization Task Force plan and requesting a study to assess the need for an after-school center for intermediate school students in the Hilo District. Decision-making to follow, 2 p.m., Room 429.
