Students at Aina Haina Elementary School took up modern technology this week

to study some of the most prehistoric creatures. The kids designed insects on computers, then built models out of cardboard, sponges and other materials. The classes were taught by Computer Safari over the school's spring intersession.



Lea Giannotti, 8, holds her model of a butterfly,
which won the Most Creative award in her age group.
