No sweat to helping Life Foundation

Active types can help the Life Foundation raise funds by taking part in the 5-kilometer AIDS Walk '98 March 15 or by wheeling through the Paradise Ride, a four-island bike ride Aug. 8-15. But even those less fit can help the Life Foundation help people with AIDS by buying the "Lifesong" CD.

"Lifesong," with cuts by 17 Hawaii entertainers and a message from Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, is on sale at music stores, retail price $15.99.

AIDS Walk participants are asked to find sponsors at a minimum of $5 per kilometer. While registration is being accepted 8 a.m. the day of the walk, pre-registration will cut down on waiting. For walk information , call 521-2437, ext. 238.
