Taking Compass in new directions

Compass Management and Leasing Inc. has appointed Kirk Horiuchi to the key role for management of its Honolulu properties which include the Pan Am building and Davies Pacific Center.

"We just opened our office in December," Horiuchi said. "We're one of the largest property and facility management companies in the world."

Compass, based in Atlanta, has offices in the United States and in England, France, Brazil and Australia.

Horiuchi most recently was president of Wagner & Wagner Property Management Inc. He has also worked with Equitable Real Estate Investment Management Inc. in San Francisco and Honolulu, and with Price Waterhouse in Honolulu.

He has a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Hawaii and a master's in business administration from University of California at Berkeley.
