William Almeida, 71, of Honolulu and formerly of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired state slaughter house worker, died Tuesday in Honolulu. Glenn A.D. Athanassiou, 45, of New York died Jan. 28 in New York. Theodore K. “Ted” Auyong, 72, an associate professor emeritus of pharmacology and toxicology at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, died Jan. 16 in Grand Forks, N.D. Harry “Bozez” Bullock, 55, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died Feb. 5 at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Madison, Ky. He was a self-employed handyman and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He is survived by sons Jethro and Kawika; daughters Julie Dearden, Guiseppina Marie Bullock, Shiloh LeAnne Bullock and Guenevere Patricia Bullock, and a grandchild. Services: 9 a.m. today at Calvary Community Church. Friends gather at the Honokohau Harbor fuel dock at 11 a.m. for scattering of the ashes at sea. Kathryn Virginia Jones, 85, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died Wednesday at Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Pittsburg, Penn. She was a retired sales person at the Coral Grotto in the former Kona Hilton Hotel. She is survived by daughter Rosemary; sons Paul and Neale; sister Janet Keller, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Shinichi Masaki, 89, of Honolulu, formerly of Makaweli, Kauai, died Feb. 5 at Queen’s Medical Center. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He was a retired Gay and Robinson Plantation Co. beekeeper. He is survived by daughters Judith Lesko, Karen Masaki and Stella Masaki Whitaker; brother Yutaka, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were private.

James Jensho Oshiro, 82, of Wahiawa, died Feb. 9 at Wahiawa General Hospital. He was born in Ninole, Hawaii. He was formerly employed at Kemoo Farm as a chef.
