An eye on retail for Outrigger

Outrigger Enterprises has chosen Barbara Campbell for a new position to oversee new retail development and leasing. She is responsible for upgrading Outrigger's retail portfolio, as well as the sale of the 1000 Bishop Building in downtown Honolulu.

"The portfolio (300 tenant leases) is nearly 100 percent leased so we will be looking for opportunities to enhance the tenant mix," Campbell said. "With 29 hotels in Hawaii, Micronesia and Guam, Outrigger has many opportunities for expansion, and retail will be an integral part of that growth."

She most recently was president and chief executive officer of DGM Group Inc., which handled commercial properties in Hawaii and Guam, including the Waikele Center. Campbell has been in property management for 15 years, working in Washington D.C., California, Denver and Hawaii.
