in OIA playoffs

Star-Bulletin staff

Justin Daniels hit a 10-foot jumper with 20 seconds left in the game and the Leilehua Mules survived the frantic final moments to win an OIA playoff opening round game last night, beating Farrington, 50-49, at Aiea High School.

The lead changed hands several times in fourth quarter until Daniels' shot. Farrington then turned the ball over but the Mules missed a dunk and the Govs got the ball back, only to miss a half-court shot at the buzzer.
