Marine advisories

There is a ridge over the islands nearly stationary.

A high-surf advisory is in effect for the north and west shores of all islands.

Caution is advised for Waianae Boat Harbor due to surf breaking in the channel entrance.

Coastal waters: Tonight and tomorrow, near the Big Island tonight northerly wind 10 knots. Otherwise variable winds 10 knots, seas 2 ft. Mostly fair. Northwest swell 5 ft.

Channels: Tonight and tomorrow, variable winds to 15 knots, seas to 4 ft.

Volcano

Lava is still flowing to the ocean through underground tubes but little or no fresh lava is visible on the surface or inside Puu Oo crater.
