Big Waves Back

Lifeguards, park officials, beachfront dwellers and
ocean enthusiasts prepared this morning for high
surf expected along Oahu's North Shore this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, waves
could be in the 15- to 25-foot range, decreasing to 10
to 15 feet by tomorrow. Beach and park closures are
expected today, Ocean Safety officials said
