Yeah, right! Thanks, Guv, for setting them straight. People are still engaging in geezer gaga. Stones sightings: Breathless diners at Roy's in Hawaii-Kai watched in awe at the sight of two middle-aged chaps stopping by with a party of eight. It was, as they knew immediately, Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts. Good thing the group was brought to the islands by Pepsi and not American Express, because Mick picked up the bill and paid for it with his VISA card. He signed it "Michael P. Jagger." HAWAII'S own "Jumpin' Jack Flash," Ken Anderson, celebrated his 45th birthday and 6,000 sky dives by partying with wife Cynthia and the Mokuleia "Drop Zone" gang at the Stones concert, but stopped short of skydiving into the stadium itself. Not only did Anderson, known as "Air Tugie," have front row seats and VIP passes at the concert, but they were picked up afterward in a stretch bearing the placard, "Mick Jagger's Limo" and whisked to Nicholas Nickolas. And, of course, Broncos here for the Pro Bowl are expected to attend ...HE never got to be in the Super Bowl this year, but San Francisco 49er quarterback Steve Young is in town and will be auctioned off Saturday at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Well, sort of. As part of the McDonald's McExtra program, 10,000 free annual family passes are being given away this month, and another 10,000 going for just $35. Three lucky families who'll be randomly chosen from those to show up at PCC and redeem their passes Saturday will get to meet and spend time with the man whose ancestor was Brigham Young and who's here for Sunday's Pro Bowl ...

Sugar Bar owner Peter Birnbaum gives further evidence that Waialua, where his bar is located, is becoming a ghost town. Bank of Hawaii is closing its branch there ... Hummer salesman Bill Bohan was humming along on the highway when he spotted a red car with a bumper sticker reading, "The Living Is Great in Keokuk." And though that's the little Iowa town where I more or less grew up, it wasn't mine ... And finally, A.P.
