Mililani beats Waianae, improves to 7-0

Mililani remained unbeaten as 6-2 senior guard Kenji Price had 14 of his game-high 20 points in the first half to help the Trojans to an 81-53 win over the Waianae Seariders in an Oahu Interscholastic Association game last night.

The Trojans, playing at home, also had 16 points from 6-5 senior center Cory Brailsford in improving to 7-0.

Kaimuki 49, Kaiser 45: At Kaiser, Warren Tang scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Bulldogs thwart a Cougars' comeback attempt and remain unbeaten at 6-0.

Kaimuki led, 34-17, before the Cougars mounted a 28-15 run in the final period.

Kauna'oa McGee led Kaiser, 1-5, with 16 points.

Leilehua 48, Nanakuli 45: At Nanakuli, Jerome Williamson's free throw with 1:14 to play broke a 45-45 tie and Justin Daniels added a layup with two seconds left to cap a 26-point effort as the Mules rallied to win.

Kevin Kwan scored 14 points, knocking down four 3-pointers, to pace Nanakuli, which led 29-21 at the half and 39-35 after three quarters.

Aukuso Tuiolemotu added 11 points and Doug Roberts 10 for McKinley.

Roosevelt was led by Chad Kalilimoku, with 14 points, Chad Kapanui, with 13, and Sein McKissen with 10.
