Unbeaten Iolani downs Maryknoll

Brad Anderson scored 20 points and twin brother Cord added 15 last night as unbeaten Iolani defeated the visiting Spartans of Maryknoll, 62-50.

All-state guard Kirk Uejio added 13 for the Raiders who trailed, 18-11, and 30-28 after the first two quarters. Iolani outscored the Spartans, 13-7, in the third to take control.

Nawahine drove to make a layup and then converted a free throw on the foul to tie it at 54-54.

When the Falcons threw the ball away with nine seconds left, Nawahine managed to draw another foul and made both ends of a one-and-one to win it.
