
Fashion watchers can preview important looks for the spring season and support a good cause when Liberty House presents its 25th anniversary "Top Cream Fashion Show" Feb. 19. Spring's 'Top Cream'
The event will be held 6 p.m. in the Ala Moana Hotel Hibiscus Ballroom. Doors will open at 5:45 and tickets, at $5, are available at the LH-Ala Moana cashier's office.
Shown will be garments for men, women and children at all price points. All proceeds from the show will benefit Hawaii Nature Center, which provides environmental education for children.

Help Palmer find love
The Honolulu Zoological Society will go beyond the birds and bees to host Zoorotica Feb. 14.No, the tour event is not an excuse to put animals in leather and chains, but the special moonlight tour will focus on romance, love and animal breeding habits. Funds raised from the event will go toward the worthwhile cause of securing a picture bride for lucky Palmer, the Honolulu Zoo's black palm cockatoo.
During the tour, participants will be able to go behind-the-scenes at the zoo, listen to romantic stories and serenades by candlelight and enjoy coffee and pastries.
Tours will run from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. and 7 to 9:15 p.m. Later tours will be added if the first two sell out.
Tickets are $15 per person, available at the zoo's box office from 9 to 4:30 p.m. daily. For more information, call 971-7195.
Dance for romance
"Heart of my Heart" is the theme for the 29th annual senior citizens Valentine Dance taking place 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 11, at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.Seniors 55 and older are invited to participate in the line, folk and ballroom dancing events. Donations welcome.
Also, dance the night away on Feb. 14 when Parents Without Partners hosts a Valentine's Dance at Skyview Terrace, NCO Club Fort Shafter. Singles and couples are welcome.
There will be country dancing from 4 to 8 p.m. and DJ dance music from the 1960s through '90s from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The cost is $10 and includes pupu, the possibility of winning door prizes and no-host bar.

A winner's luau
Winners at Work offers an all-you-can-eat luau Feb. 8 to raise funds for its community employment programs.The event, with halau entertainment, runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ala Moana Park's McCoy Pavilion. Prior to the luau, there will be a Hawaii-made products bazaar from noon to 5 p.m.
The cost of the luau is $22.50 per person ($10 tax deductible). For reservations or information, call 532-2100 or 532-2110 (TDD). The deadline for reservations and to request accommodations for disabilities is Jan. 30.
