James Baker, 58, of Nanakuli died Wednesday in St. Francis-West Hospital. George Takeshi Kobashigawa, 61, of Waipahu, a retired research technician at the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture, died Jan. 5 at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Carol; son Curtis; father Taru; brothers Masaichi, Seijun, Yukio, Charles Seiken, Masao, Seikichi and Shigeru, and sister Esther Hatsumi Inouye. Services were private.

Setsuyo Nishiguchi, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Musashiya Ltd. bookkeeper, died Jan. 9 in Straub Hospital. She was born in Honomu.
