Kauna'oa McGee scored five of his game-high 18 points in fourth quarter as Kaiser held off a furious rally by the Tigers to win its Oahu Interscholastic Association game, 58-56, at the Cougars' gym last night. McGee helps Kaiser turn back McKinley
McKinley trailed, 32-12, at halftime but Geno Doyle and Brandon Tamasoa fueled the Tigers' comeback effort, each scoring six points during a 27-point fourth quarter.
Jesse Yoshino and Ryan Liddle added 11 points apiece for the Cougars, who won their first game of the season after opening with three losses.
Tamasoa and Doug Roberts each finished with 11 points for McKinley.
