Check inflation
to find your worth

Now is the time to get organized, and one of the best ways to start is to figure out how much you are worth.

You may be worth a lot to the spouse and kids, but what about in cold cash -- did you gain or lose money in 1997?

You can find out by trundling over to http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/bu2/inflate.html for a look at inflation last year.

The site features a handy calculator that immediately figures out how much your investments grew or groaned.

If things look really bleak, the site also features a calculator for the cost of living in cities around the world.
