Big Island

Windward: Partly cloudy, a few showers tonight. Tomorrow partly sunny after morning showers.

Leeward: Clearing tonight, sunny tomorrow morning, then cloudy with showers over the slopes. Winds variable 5-15 mph in Kona and Hilo areas, easterly 5-15 elsewhere.

Marine advisories

A high surf advisory is in effect for north to northeast-facing shores of all the islands. Caution is advised for all north- to northeast-facing harbors, especially Kahului and Hilo, due to expected north-northeast swell producing surges within the harbors.

Coastal waters: Tonight and tomorrow, southeast winds 10 knots, seas 2 feet, fair. North swell near 6 feet.

Channels: Tonight and tomorrow, southeast winds 15 knots, seas 4 feet.
